James J Buss, CPA is the President and founder of Buss Accounting & Consulting, PC.  James has extensive business experience in both public accounting and in the private construction industry.  He graduated from the University of South Dakota in 1998 and was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of South Dakota in 2002 and Iowa in 2004.  He worked in public accounting from 1999 to 2003 and was hired in 2003 by a Fortune 500 company in the construction industry to assist in a implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 and various other internal audit functions. He is a member of the South Dakota CPA Society and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. The firm has received authority from the State Board of Accountancy in South Dakota to practice accounting and is a member of the AICPA Peer Review Program.
